Hudson, MA, April 27, 2004 - 2L, inc. today announced that the Adjustable Venturi Vacuum Generator creates a vacuum by using compressed air. It is excellent for workholding, fixturing and clamping applications (vacuum chucks, custom hold down fixturing, suction cups, etc.) The Adjustable Venturi Vacuum Generator creates 4.5 scfm of vacuum using only 70-80 psi air pressure. The amount of vacuum may be adjusted from zero to the maximum vacuum simply by rotating the exhaust end. The solid anodized aluminum construction allows use in harsh dirty environments or cleanrooms. The straight through design helps prevent clogging. The Adjustable Venturi Vacuum pump has standard 1/4” NPT female connections for quick attachment to other systems.
