AEOS is the only system on the security market that stores biometric information in the controller rather than on the card. For this reason, it is no longer necessary to use expensive chip cards. It is now feasible to integrate a facial recognition system into existing card systems.
For example, you can make visitor access secure using AEOS plus economical barcode cards that include some form of biometric identification.
Nedap has implemented AEOS in an initial system that successfully combines access control with biometric verification at the University of Twente in Enschede in the Netherlands. Combining AEOS with facial recognition creates a system that optimally combines comfort and security and, as an added bonus, offers extremely simply maintenance.
